Grab your dancing shoes, your friends, your shoulder pads, and your rainbow legwarmers. We're celebrating Pride, Kimber's birthday, and the neon dream decade that was the 80s.

NonsenseATL's legendary 80s party (from The Basement) returns for one night at Drunken Unicorn.

Sing along and dance your cares away to your favorite hits from the decade of crimped hair, Rainbow Brite, and Rubik's Cubes.

Kimber is the DJ (and she's celebrating her birthday!). She'll play all the biggest 80s hits. Expect Whitney, Madonna, Prince, INXS, Cyndi Lauper, Whitney, Queen, Salt N Pepa, Wham!, Dolly Parton, The Pointer Sisters, Erasure, Lionel Richie, Depeche Mode, Hall & Oates, Janet Jackson, Chaka Khan, Bon Jovi, and lots more.

Nonsense ATL events welcome every sexual orientation, race, gender role, nationality, age (21+), and level of dance skill. Tell a friend and spread the love. Everyone is welcome.

What time should I show up?
Doors are at 10. We go until 3. If you come before 11pm, you get a dance floor with more room to move and a bar with no line. The crowd builds fast after midnight, so showing up early means you're dancing and singing to your fave song while everyone else is still queuing. Do yourself a favor and come early.
How do I get there and where's parking?
We're at 736 Ponce De Leon Ave. Drunken Unicorn is part of the iconic old MJQ concourse space on Ponce. It's tucked between Midtown and Poncey-Highlands, near the Clermont Hotel. There's a lot of parking around, but honestly, just take a rideshare if you're partying. Ponce gets busy and a Uber to the door beats circling for parking. Drop-off is easy.
Can I get walk-up tickets at the door?
Yes! (card or cash). Walk right up. At the very worst, you'll wait a sec to get in.
Then why buy presale?
Because it costs more at the door, and presale buyers get priority entry. The door tix are there if you need them, but if you're planning to come, sort it early and breeze in. Sign up for The List to get notifications when early-bird tickets go on sale so you can snag the cheapest tickets for every event.
Can I get a refund?
Refunds are open until 48 hours before the event. Life happens, no drama. Just sort it out on eventbrite.com before the cutoff and you're fine. If you miss the cutoff, do not contact us to request a refund. We can't help at that point.
Is it 21+? What do I need?
21 and up, so bring a real ID. That's the one non-negotiable. No ID means no entry and we hate seeing the venue turn people away.
What kind of night is it?
The magical kind. All 80s music, all night. Expect a packed room, group sing-alongs, and a crowd who came to dance their cares away. Heyday is joy.
Can I bring a group? Is there a deal?
Bring the crew! Buy five or more tix and you'll get a discount!
Is the venue accessible?
Yes. The Drunken Unicorn is wheelchair accessible. If you have specific needs or want to know what to expect, hit us up before the show and we'll take care of you.
What's the situation with coat check, bar, ATM?
There's a full bar with very good prices (card or cash) but no coat check or ATM.
