A night of 80s hits, costumes, and Halloween nonsense in East Atlanta Village.
Atlanta’s legendary 80s night is back for Halloween.
HEYDAY returns to 529 for an 80s Halloween party with five hours of the biggest songs of the decade, an 80s costume contest, and a very civilized 8 PM start time.
We’re decorating, getting some wild costumes together, and turning 529 in East Atlanta Village into an 80s Halloween fever dream for the night.
We’re having an 80s costume contest, so come as your favorite 80s icon, movie or cartoon character, aerobics instructor, prom disaster, or whatever else the decade inspires. Costumes are encouraged, never required.
Kimber is the DJ, playing the 80s all night. Madonna, Dolly Parton, Prince, Whitney Houston, Cyndi Lauper, INXS, Janet Jackson, New Order, Depeche Mode, Salt-N-Pepa, Wham!, The Cure, Erasure, Chaka Khan, Hall & Oates, Bon Jovi, The Pointer Sisters, and plenty more. Yes, we will play Thriller.
We start at 8 PM and wrap at 1 AM. Come out early, spend the night dancing to the biggest hits of the 80s, and still be in bed at an entirely reasonable hour. Or stay out in EAV. We’re not your parents.
HEYDAY is for people who love the 80s, whether you lived through them or just inherited the records. Dress up or come as you are. Just be ready to sing along and dance your cares away with Atlanta’s friendliest crowd.
